I strive to tell a story with my art… Reality already exists, so I don’t set out to duplicate it. I lean into caricature, exaggeration and expression (alterations of scale or reducing complexity to simplicity are all used to convey the message). I have been blessed with success in various forms of sculpture, from large-scale designs to mechanical pieces, to relief sculptures, and smaller collectibles. As AI products become increasingly homogenized, I focus on authenticity that reminds us of what it means to be human – where perfection is found within the imperfections.
