I have been sculpting smaller scale sculptures since childhood, where no bar of soap was safe from my little pocket knife. Eventually, the blade was traded for fingers to mold various mediums into the images in my brain.
It was a happy return to an even smaller scale (2″-5″), which was like a breath of fresh air. I was working with 2 companies (animation and gift) on creating a few miniature collectible lines that would make them more accessible and affordable to wider arenas. All protections and contracts were in place…

Then AI hit.

Here are a few that were in the que.

“THE COVINAUTS”: ©

A line of collectible miniature sculptures called “The Covinauts” created for a highly stylized animation project about aliens who hold a unique take on what it means to be human. Each character possesses an imaginative twisting of physical features (yes, there is a reason for their proportions and odd attire)… The resulting concept and storyline was unique, controversial, and an all-around hoot!… The FULL INFORMATIONAL PACKET is available upon request to industry professionals (pending approval).

Below are short videos that show the boxes from all angles (before painting).

The last two show how the pieces of the boxes are assembled (just to give insight).

The GERIATRIC GYRATORS ©

Back in the 90s, I created this line of male exotic dancers (65+) called the GERIATRIC GYRATORS (a celebration of staying young, at any age) in partnership with a gift company. I went on to base a live-action screenplay around the concept called “OLD SPICE” (can be seen on the screenplay page).

More recently, I revived the concept with a younger (50+) line of 3 males and 3 females (just to keep things fair and fun). I completed 5 but lost the muse for the last female. I’m still intending to complete the line if/when inspiration returns, because I hate leaving things unfinished.

Until then…
